Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - BANGKOK Arrival

Welcome to Thailand, the Land of Smiles 😊

Today is arrival day so your day is free to settle in, until 18:00 when we'll meet up for a pre-trip info meeting and for everyone to meet each other. Afterwards we can head out for a bite to eat to get the tour off to a great start.

Day 2 - BANGKOK - Grand Palace & Temples Tour

Today, we're in for a real treat as we explore the vibrant streets of Bangkok using a combination of public transport and  classic tuk-tuks, uncovering the city's historical gems. Our morning kicks off with a visit to the awe-inspiring Grand Palace, the peaceful Emerald Buddha, and the massive 43m-long Golden Reclining Buddha in Wat Pho.

After a tasty vegan lunch, we'll check out the Temple of the Dawn and then hop on a private long-tail boat for a cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Get ready for a unique perspective of the city, cruising through charming canals where locals still call stilted houses home. It's going to be a day to remember!

Day 3 - BANGKOK - Nighttime Food Tour

Discover the best of what this vibrant city has to offer at night while enjoying a Tuk-Tuk ride and indulging in delicious Thai food. This tour combines the must-try activities in Bangkok - exploring the city after dark, riding in a Tuk-Tuk, and savoring authentic local vegan cuisine.

Our destinations tonight are located in Bangkok's Old City, so we hop in Tuk-Tuks to embark on an exciting journey through lively streets and historical landmarks to truly experience the essence of Thailand and its mouthwatering street food.

This tour is not just about food; it also includes fascinating insights into Thai culture and life. Our knowledgeable guides will provide interesting tidbits along the way, making this an unforgettable and educational experience.

This is a unique opportunity to try something beyond the usual tourist activities in Bangkok.

Day 4 - CHIANG MAI - Overnight Sleeper Train

Today we travel North, leaving behind the cosmopolitan vibes of Bangkok to find the Northern charm of  Chiang Mai, famous for it's old walled city and over 300 amazing temples

The overnight sleeper train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai may take longer than a flight but it's a journey and an experience you don't want to miss. From meeting the local people on board to experiencing the amazing jungle views on route, today is a perfect example of the journey being as important as the destination.

Day 5 - CHIANG MAI - Doi Suthep Temple Tour

We arrive bright and early into Chiang Mai, looking forward to a half day trip to the nearby iconic and sacred Doi Suthep Temple located 3,500 feet above sea level.

Ascending 306 steps to its gateway, guarded by majestic Nagas (half-human, half-serpent) either side, discover the temple grounds adorned with golden pillars, gongs, and rows of bells and the five-tiered gold parasols in the inner courtyard. Dating back to 1383, this revered temple houses the holy relic of Lord Buddha in a magnificent golden pagoda, symbolizing Chiang Mai and enjoys a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings.

Day 6 - HILLTRIBE HOMESTAY - Elephant Nature Sanctuary

Let's spend a full day immersed in the world of indigenous hilltribes and rescued elephants!

We venture high into the jungle to experience a totally new perspective of Thailand and one far removed from the urban experiences we've enjoyed so far.

From enjoying a jungle trek, with our guide helping us to fully appreciate the simple pleasures of jungle life, to spending time in the company of the majestic elephants rescued from the wild, today is always one of the most memorable of any trip to Thailand

Day 7 - CHIANG MAI - Thai Vegan Cooking Class

The past week has been a whirlwind of activity so today we give you the opportunity to catch a breath and do you own thing. Maybe you'll take a walk around some of Chiang Mai's 300+ temples or relax with an authentic Thai massage.

In the late afternoon we're not only going to Taste a bit of Thailand, we're going to learn how to cook it ourselves before sitting down to enjoy the fruits of our own labor.

One of the best things about travelling is experiencing the different vegan foods available. Thailand is famous for it's amazing cuisine but finding vegan options isn't always easy, so why not cook your own. From sweet treats to spicy mouth tinglers, Thailand has it all, and just because we're plant-based doesn't mean we need to miss out.

On the way home we can head down to Chiang Mai's famous night bazaar to explore the numerous stall and shops and of course to try sample a little more  of Chiang Mai and Northern Thailand's street food.

Day 8 - HANOI, Vietnam - Included Flight

The towering limestone islands and beautiful waters are an amazing site and something that every visitor to Vietnam must behold. Our accommodation for the night is is an incredible, traditional junk boat.

Halong translates to Bay of the Descending Dragons and local legend describes a great dragon soaring down from the mountains, gouging out the valleys and spitting jewels which transformed into the various islands. Staying on the boat in the heart of the bay means we have time to explore the caves, go swimming and soak up the beauty and tranquility of the area.

Tonight we are treated to a local dinner aboard the boat followed by time to relax on deck.

It has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centres. At its largest the tunnel system stretched over 250 kilometers from Saigon to the Cambodian border and was three levels deep. Sitting on the juncture of the Mekong River and the Tonle Sap river, Phnom Penh has been the national capital since the French colonised Cambodia during the 19th century. The city has grown from a small fishing village to what is now the industrial, commercial, cultural and historical centre of Cambodia.

Phnom Penh is a welcoming and friendly city, abundant with culture, arts and music, far removed from the darker chapters in the country's history.

At night, after a short tuk-tuk city tour, our group will head down to the riverside to experience the international and local cuisine scene and a slow cold Cambodian beer.

The building is now a haunting tribute to the thousands who died here and at the other 150 similar camps throughout the country in the late 1970's.

Those who were detained at the camp were later taken and executed at the Choeung Ek extermination Centre, more commonly known as "The Killing Fields", a site we also visit to learn more of and try to understand this wonderful country's turbulent past.

The many ceremonial structures and temples here were built between the 9th and 13th centuries by the Khmer Empire that spanned a period of approximately 600 years. These temples are some of the most famous in the world and take up an area of approximately 160 square kilometres.

The performers tell fascinating stories about Cambodian culture and everyday life through their amazing stunts and routines. The energy and enthusiasm they bring to the stage make the show really fun and engaging.

After arriving to Phuket we'll have time to unpack and freshen up before heading out for a brief orientation and dinner.

Day 27 - PHUKET - Phi Phi Island & Maya Bay Trip

Our voyage starts with a visit to the iconic Maya Bay, made famous by the movie "The Beach." and Khai Island to enjoy the stunning scenery and crystal-clear waters of this tropical paradise.
